Arkansas Rice Goes to ‘Girls Night Out’

LITTLE ROCK, AR — Arkansas Rice Council President Robert Petter was on hand to assist the Miss Arkansas Rice contestants in promoting Arkansas Rice at the recent “Girls Night Out,” an event for women of all ages, hosted by Citadel Broadcasting radio stations. An estimated 3,000 people enjoyed live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, fashion shows and more.

Miss St. Francis County Rice Lydia Holmes and Miss Lee County Rice Chelsea Benson distributed rice samples and recipes. The Miss Arkansas Rice program has encouraged young women to get involved in promoting rice for 48 years.
